In exercise 2 we were suppose to take all of the structural ideas that we learned about from exercise 1 and bring in the idea of duality (our relationship with someone.) We are supposed to create the chair based on the relationship that we have with someone, that is once again sit-able. This time we could use as much cardboard as we wished and we could cut the cardboard apart but once again we could not use any adhesive to hold it together. This time we used cardboard to create our model so that we knew how it would bend and then we moved to the 4x8 sheets of cardboard. Also the seat did have to hold us up when we were sitting on it but the main focus was on the design and the relationship that we had with the person that we wrote our essay on.
